Chianti d.o.c.g. is the greatest of wines, according to famous wine writer Burton Anderson.
Known since the Middle Ages, Chianti has conquered winelovers and artists through the centuries. Michelangelo, Machiavelli and Galileo Galilei among others have praised its qualities.
Giuseppe Verdi’s wife is famously known to have said: “Verdi is fine, he eats, runs about the garden, sleeps and drinks Chianti”.
